Pupil Premium

This funding is given to schools for each pupil on roll who is registered for a free school meal at any time in the last 6 years.  This money enables us to support these pupils in any way necessary to improve their access to activities and opportunities to enhance their educational progress.

If you register your child for free school meals, the school receives Pupil Premium funds for them. Entitlement to free school meals is kept entirely confidential.

You are entitled to claim free school meals for your child if you are in receipt of any of the following benefits:

 Job Seekers Allowance (income based) or Income Support

 Child Tax Credit (not Working Tax Credit) – provided your annual income, assessed by the Inland Revenue does not exceed £16,190 (Please note this amount is subject to change in April)

 Employment Support Allowance (income related)

 Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit

 Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
