“Who will help me plant this corn?” asked the Little Red Hen during our annual Harvest Festival service in the church. “Not I! said the dog, the cat and the duck, so poor Little Red Hen did it all by herself! The children have been learning about how to be a good role model, to help each other and to share, so not at all like the animals in the story! In true Harvest spirit and thanks to family contributions, we once more have a big selection of donated goods to give to the Foodbank for sharing with families in need all over Milton Keynes.
In Forest Schools we have been marvelling at the wonderful changing colours of the trees on our field; making nests for squirrels and birds and hunting for winter food sources that the animals will be storing away in time for hibernation.
