We use our texting service as the first means of contacting parents for closures, weather alerts, event reminders etc, so please make sure we have your up to date mobile number in school.  Please note we are unable to receive replies to the text messages we sent out.

FOES Fundraiser - Bags2School - look out for the blue bag which your child will bring home the week before half-term, and use it to donate any unwanted clothes or fabrics.  The bags will be collected from the school playground on Wednesday 4th November and FOES will receive a donation depending on the weight of fabric collected.  Thank you. 

Please bring in donations for the Harvest Hampers by Friday 9th October for non-perishables, or Wednesday 14th October for fresh produce.  Thank you, from FOES!

The next course will start on Thursday 17th September, 3.15 - 4.15, and will run for 6 weeks.

Another trip to Sherington is planned, this time for our Busy Bees class (Year 1 and Foundation) on Monday 29th June.  Lots of interesting activities are planned.

We will have a non-uniform day on Friday 13th March to raise money for Comic Relief.  Please bring in a donation, and remember to wear something BRIGHT RED.

We have circulated two letters this week, one about the feasibility of school meals from Sept 09, and the other about after-school sports clubs.  Please see the Letters Home page for details.

After a series of shared activities involving Emberton and Sherington Schools last term, our Year 2 children have been over to work with their friends at Sherington School today.  Beatrix Potter was the theme of the day.
